Paulina - Dental Assistant
In 1994, Paulina came to Austin from the small Island of Moch in Micronesia. Paulina knew little about oral hygiene except brushing and pulling teeth out when they hurt until she came to Texas. She has always been passionate about helping people, and that’s what led her to what she’s doing today.
Paulina has been a dental assistant, and loving it, since 1998. She joined the BridgeView Dental team in 2006. Paulina loves to learn and is dedicated to finding new and better ways to care for her patients. It’s important to her to make sure you are comfortable in the chair and that every patient is receiving the best dental treatment available. She loves the ability dentistry has to transform a person’s life through their smile.
When Paulina is not at the office, you can find her spending time with her family, especially her two sons.
Joanna - Registered Dental Hygienist
Joanna has had the pleasure of working with patients in the dental field for over 20 years. She began working as a dental assistant and worked in the front office before becoming a hygienist.
She graduated in 2005 from the very first class at the Austin Community College of Dental Hygiene with the highest accomplishment, the Golden Scaler Award. After she obtained her degree, Joanna also continued her education at the JP Institute to further develop her skills and understanding of treating periodontal disease.
Joanna has been a part of the BridgeView Dental family since 2008. As a dental hygienist, she plays a vital role. She takes pride in helping patients understand the importance of oral care and maintaining a healthy smile.
The foundation of a healthy smile always starts with the gums, so she is very thorough in customizing a treatment plan that is specific to each individual. Her number-one goal is for patients to feel comfortable and enjoy their experience in a dental office.
During her free time, Joanna enjoys traveling, trying new foods, dancing and most of all raising her two fun-loving boys.
Xtine - Office Manager
Xtine (pronounced like Christine) is our Office Manager. She has been with BridgeView Dental ever since the doors opened in 2000. She serves as our patients’ liaison.
Because of all the hats she has worn, Xtine is very knowledgeable in all areas of operation within the practice – a Jack of all Trades. She will be there for you every step of the way, will answer any questions you have regarding your procedure, help you understand your financing options, and schedule your appointments.
You will feel at ease with Xtine during this process because she is attentive, compassionate and thorough. She goes above and beyond to guarantee that every patient has an exceptional experience at our office.
When she is not working or answering after-hour emergency calls, Xtine enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
